Rail Line Rehabs Keep the Masses Moving

RailWorks Track Systems is rehabilitating the track on Metro Transit’s Blue Line, a light-rail line connecting downtown Minneapolis, MN, and the Mall of America. A crew installs a direct-fixation #6 double crossover on track downtown near U.S. Bank Stadium, home of the Minnesota Vikings professional football team and a popular destination on the line.

As three summertime projects in the United States demonstrate, RailWorks can deliver when it comes to mass-transit expertise. U.S. crews are tackling the unique challenges of rehabilitating active transit lines, including a light rail line in Minnesota and a pair of commuter rail systems in Texas and Southern California.
